Knitted Polo Shirt

Do you remember this shirt?

Started knitting it in Dec 2006 when Baobao was one year old. But only finished it in 2007. As mentioned in this post http://earthtone.wordpress.com/2007/09/26/completed-knitted-polo-tee/, the entire piece was done on mrt. Knitting, piecing finishing.

But it was not perfect, so. we chucked it away in te wardrobe And had never worn it out once.

Last night the kids took it out And try it on again, viola! It still fits! I sewed on the three buttons at last And cut away the stray threads And he wore it to art class this morning.

Looking so handsome in it.


The collar was not well done, the shirt is a wee bit short,  And I would have preferred the whole shirt in blue sans the lower white part. Imperfect,  but still lovely to see it worn at last.
