A Job That waited 4 years

I had wanted to paint the house in 2008. Then I got pregnant with meimei. From then till she was 2, my hands were full with caring for the little ones.
The idea returned at the beginning of this year. Somehow, I waited and waited for the hubby to give me the go ahead, and he didn't. Until one day I asked myself, why did I need a go ahead from him? I had no answer. So I made up my mind and was ready to go!
I decided to get the paint on one Monday 2 months ago. But on the Sunday before, my dizziness struck.
Again, I couldn't proceed.
So it felt a wee bit surreal to finally laid brushes on those dirty walls this afternoon.
Yay.
